Dr. I Wayan Dibia is one of Bali's leading dancers and
scholars, who
has
created many new dance works internationally.  He is
an expert in the
interlocking vocal and dance form, Kecak. He has
collaborated with
foreign
artists in experimental works that fuse Balinese and
other forms, such
as
ŒBody Tjak¹
( http://www.crosspulse.com/html/bodytjak.html), a
collaboration
with Bay Area body percussionist, Keith Terry.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with the
Balinese master who
literally wrote the book on Kecak [KETjak] (known as
monkey chant).  In
fact, it¹s the only book written which specifically
focuses on the art
and
craft of Kecak.
